Connecting to SVPAL -- PPP accounts -- Windows ME

Go to the Start button, on your task bar, then Control Panel, then Dial-up Networking, then Make New Connection.

Start/Control Panel/Dial-up Networking/Make New Connection

Type in a name for the connection. For example, svpal.

Name the New Connection

Type in the phone number you will be diling into.

Enter the phone number

Select Finish

Finish

Go back to the Start button, on your task bar, then Control Panel, then Dial-up Networking, then svpal.

Type in your username in the format login@svpal.org, your password, and select Connect to go online.

The modem will dial and connect, and you will be online. Now you are ready to open your programs to retrieve or send e-mail, browse the Web, and so on.
