Connecting to SVPAL -- PPP accounts -- Macintosh System 8 or 9


Go to the Apple menu on the top left corner, then Control Panels, and then open Remote Access.

Type in your user ID (login) name @svpal.org; for example, janedoe@svpal.org.

Type in your password.

Type in the phone number you are dialing into.

Select Connect



The modem will dial in, connect, and you will be online. Now you can start your programs to retrieve or send e-mail, browse the Web, and so on.

Note: If you have more than one provider, go to File/Configurations to manage your profiles.
