Peter and Mary had six children at Ballyglass, Crossboyne, Co. Mayo: |
1. Mary (1852 - 9 Feb 1924) Mary married William Gill (1844-1917), a farmer and administrator for Lord Oranmore & Brown (landlord). William was the son of John Gill (1805-1862) & Honoria Jennings (d: abt 1848) of Scardaun East, Mayo. They had 13 children in Scardaun East, Co. Mayo. Only nine children survived to adulthood. 2. Bridget (1854 -?) Bridget married Thomas Commons (1843) at Milltown RC Church in 1874. Tom was a publican on the square in Claremorris. They had the following children in Claremorris: 1874-1952 Cecelia (surname "Cummings" in Utah) The family moved to England before the 1901 census.

4. Hanoria (Nora) (????) Nora married James Greany on 28 Jul 1894 in Milltown and had the following children in Cahirmorris, Galway: 30 Mar 1896 Margaret Cahirmorris is on the Galway/Mayo border, so some records may be in South County Mayo. In 1800s, Cahermorris town, Galway, was in Annaghdown civil parish. Annaghdown catholic parish (now Corrandulla) includes Annaghdown civil parish.

-1934)
Preliminary education at St. Jarlath's School. On ordination at Maynooth in 1889, he changed his name from Kyne to Coyne because there is no "K" in the Irish language. He went first to Sale Diocese in Victoria, Australia (26 Sep 1890), then Warragul in 1891(Sale Diocese) for 9 years (entailed traveling by horseback over unmade roads in all weathers), then he was the first priest of the St. Laurence O'Toole's Parish in Leongatha and served there from Oct 1901-Sep 1934. In Apr 1918, he was appointed Vicar General of Sale Diocese, with title of Dean. He is buried at Leongatha, which is 80 miles south-east of Melbourne. ![]() Peter Kyne? |
